      Hi my name is Charmaine McBain, after years of dreams and aspirations to raise and train high quality canines, Charbain Kennels is home to Reg'd Chihuahuas and German Shepherds!  I have dedicated myself to the highest standards and strive to reach the highest quality and temperament possible in my dogs, whether for pet, show or competition.  

 

      Charbain Kennels is not my source of income (I work full time), not a hobby, but rather my passion!  My family has had Chihuahuas since the 1950's and I have had a dog at my side since before I could walk, I trained my first dog (a husky) at the age of 9 in obedience and basic agility (yes a long time before it became popular), after earning the trials high score of 190/200 against very experienced adults I didn't look back...I worked harder, trained harder, learned more and learned how to teach people how to train their own dogs. 

 

      I now have over 20 years experience training and raising K9 companions and competition dogs, and have had the opportunity to raise, train and work with many breeds, including but not limited to Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Border Collies, Labs, Doberman Pinschers, Shelties, Havanese, Huskies, Poodles, American Bulldogs, JRT's, Mixed breeds, Rescues and of course CHIHUAHUAS and GERMAN SHEPHERDS!
